Jul 31 Habitat First Group

Habitat First Group is a family-run development company creating holiday homes communities for the future. Following on from the success of Lower Mill Estate in the Cotswolds it has launched two new sites, in Devon and Dorset, and is going from strength to strength.

The company has an impressive commitment to sustainability and biophilic living i.e. living in harmony with nature, to the benefit of all. Not only do they combine excellence in architecture, interior design, state-of-the-art facilities, security and service, but they also look at the bigger picture of their locations.

By developing on disused quarries, they regenerate the area. Clients love the estates; the wildlife comes back; they avoid the issue of turning rural villages into ghost towns mid-week, whilst still generating local income and jobs; plus they instil a love of nature in future generations.

No surprise they have won awards for green infrastructure…

Copywriting: Birchwood

The modern country estate that is Birchwood is the latest development by Habitat First Group. Set in glorious Devon countryside, it is perfectly based for exploring North Devon’s beaches, moors and creeks.

Consulting with the CEO, MD, Chief Ecologist and architects Koto, I set out and wrote all the copy for the website.

Habitat Zero is a sub-brand of Habitat First Group, demonstrating its commitment to deliver an environmentally-responsible, carbon neutral business by 2030.

The website I designed for them reflects their aims to reduce single-use plastic, be carbon neutral and live ethically.

Copywriting: Lower Mill Estate

Following on from the success of Birchwood, I was asked to rewrite the content for their other locations.

Set in the Cotswolds Waterpark, Lower Mill Estate is is mindfully designed around freshwater lakes, rivers and acres of untouched woodland, meaning residents can enjoy some downtime from the crazy pace of urban life.
