Other Graphic Design & Film Projects
To date, everything I collaborate on is through word of mouth and recommendation. Below are a few examples of my consultancy work in various capacities…
oneworld 25 - Logo Design
For the 25th anniversary of the oneworld alliance, I designed a special edition of their logo, adding silver accents to the original brandmark.
The alliance has flown nearly nine billion customers since its foundation in 1999. Now a member airline takes off or lands somewhere in the world every six seconds, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The alliance includes: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian and SriLankan Airlines.
Grenada - Stand Design
Stand design for the tourism board of Grenada for the National Geographic Food Festival in London, in collaboration with a winner of best stand at Masterpiece, Helen Gilchrist.
Our brief was to reference rum shacks on the island so we created with bamboo fencing, straw and fire resistant foliage wall.
I also custom designed this neon sign for a selfie wall, with a deep dive into suitable typography. All materials were chosen so they can be reused multiple times, with sustainability in mind.
Gara Rock - Logo Design
Voted Seaside Hotel of the Year by The Sunday Times, Gara Rock is perched on a clifftop outside Salcombe, Devon, on the South West Coastal Path.
As part of a complete overhaul under new ownership, I created their new logo in consultation with House Nine Design (Interior Design) and The PC Agency (PR).
The circle represents the sun, the horizontal line the horizon and the triangle the iconic coastguards’ hut from the 19th century. The text was subsequently altered to a roundel.
Our Place - Branding
As part of a rebrand of Architekton, I was tasked with coming up with a new, funky visual indentity for Our Place melding its traditional roots with a more contemporary edge. This architectural firm and developer creates beautiful and sustainable communities, regenerating areas within Spitalfields and Norwich. It demonstrates impressive, progressive thinking from the owner’s time at the Prince’s Foundation.
The idea was to come up with a direction which could be taken forward by their in-house graphic designers, inspired by collaborations at Hermes, Burberry and Louis Vuitton.
The Brazilian Wood Company - Branding, Strategy, Logo & Website
Gustavo Wagner Ribeiro founded The Brazilian Wood Company in the belief that the future of flooring has to be planted forests. The company sells hardwoods for residential and commercial projects. Gustavo studied agriculture in Brazil, has his own farm in Mato Grosso and operates a sustainably managed forest, with full traceability through BV Rio.
I acted as a strategic and branding consultant to Gustavo, advising him from the concept phase through to delivering a simple website.
